AI can speed up data access, support design reviews, and help with routine tasks, but it can’t hear when metal sounds wrong or feel the weight of a tool in hand. It can’t replace experience, judgement, or the kind of practical thinking that only comes from years on the floor.![]()

Used well, AI becomes another tool in the toolbox. One that supports our team, frees up time, and gives us another way to check the work. But it never replaces the people doing it.![]()
